"Until they ALL come home"
Code of Ethics and Cooperative Learning • Everyone works toward common goals. • Individuals X Effort = Group Effort • Everyone contributes something positive to the group (like sweat equity, ideas, knowledge, leadership, attitude, creativity, etc.) • Treat each other respectfully. • Hold each other accountable to staying on task and on topic. • Respect life, with compassion, generosity, and love, without judgment, and with healing as an ongoing goal • Action, service, and fortitude, through sweat equity will produce solutions.
What We Do:We strive to help relatives of MMIWR in crisis find the support and resources needed. Prevention is also one of our main focuses. Prevention to us, includes recovery, support systems, talking circles, learning the importance of self-defense and situational awareness, self-worth, and connection. We will be putting together a curriculum of video coursework dedicated to these main groups. Sweat equity can be reciprocated through videos proving proof of concept.

Key information

what we do...
Look For Me is connecting curriculums along with real life education, to not only empower Native communities in developing solutions to the crisis of MMIR (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives), but also to focus on prevention. This is a multifaceted approach as we consider this to be an attack on all fronts. We work in collaboration with several groups and volunteers who are in alignment with goals and mission. We add to a network who are for the people. We consider training and readiness critical. The primary focus of Look For Me is to provide advocacy for the relatives affected by MMIR. We also are creating linkable resources through training, empowering communities looking for skills to form launching pads for building SAR and CERT teams of their own. Look For Me will be adding to a network for the people. Prevention is a primary focus and will also be reinforced by developing programs to combat many contributing factors to MMIR. Look For Me aims to help Native communities both on and off reservations starting with prevention, awareness, and education. We will adapt and create structural models that will incorporate each Tribe and Nation’s traditional ways with modern technology and knowledge to help empower communities to build and operate autonomously, while having support of network working in alignment. Our main focuses will be establishing self-worth, introduction to SAR through access to FEMA training, support through network of NASAR instructors, aiding in recovery process, and adding to network of others dedicated to ending the Crisis of MMIR. Look For Me and the longevity of our procedures shall revolve around our ability to be consistent, constructive, and flexible. We will excel by producing exceptional trending marketing ideas through gateways of social media and supportive events. We will magnify our products with style and colorful approaches to blend perfectly with our customers. We will help to promote training as a way of self-empowerment. It all will start with conversation. Look For Me uses FEMA and NASAR training. We also collaborate with Aquiline Drones for FAA training. We will have specialists in each area as train-the-trainer programs both in-person and online courses. Digital reciprocation of proof-of-concept videos will show sweat equity. Look For Me believes that with access to protocol and training curriculums, communities can build the same teams as police and EMS. We will help assess each potential location for need, willingness and ability to train, and local resource. We will then, help connect the dots and start building. We also believe that we can heal and learn and teach each other how to heal through linkable dialogues. There will be clear paths for those who come behind us to break the cycles and heal in a good way, together. We understand that MMIR is a direct byproduct of colonization. We are holding ourselves accountable to change that. We are not waiting. Attracting dedicated contributors and sponsors will help us propel our plans into actions. We have heard from every corner of the Nation, all asking for the same things. We are devoted to giving what we can to all that we can, for as long as we can. It is time to reclaim your worth.
